a rich shade of vermilion with a fine, powdered texture, moroccan red clay or “rhassoul clay” is a rare find and one of the purest clays on earth. mined beneath the atlas mountains of morocco, it’s played a crucial part in bathing and beauty rituals for the past 1400 years. a fixture in the bathhouses of turkey and morocco, it cleanses on all levels: in soap, shampoo and skin treatments.
